Since 1951, the building at 6420 E. Colfax Avenue at the corner of Colfax and Monaco has been the primary hardware store serving Parkhill, Mayfair, Crestmoor, City Park, Congress Park and Cheeseman Park. In 1991, the ownership of the building changed hands along with the business. The highly esteemed Ross Hardware closed its doors for the final time after 40 years of serving the Denver Community. Denver True Value took its place in the neighborhood continuing to serve the communities surrounding it. Today, Denver True Value is still regarded as the main hardware store for these communities and has expanded to serve the Stapleton and Lowry area as well. Denver True Value serves the needs of everyday homeowners looking to take on an improvement project all the way up to contractors and businesses looking for all the right products to complete a project for a customer. Any local who shops here will tell you that “This is a great neighborhood hardware store that always seems to have what I’m looking for and more importantly will tell me what to do with it!” Over the course of its 20+ years in business, Denver True Value has grown and established a reputation as being the one-stop-shop for any hardware related needs.
